Global Harmonization: Labeling
The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals, now replacing the "Right to Know" and Hazard Communication Standard, is an international system used to label hazardous physical, health, and environmental substances in accordance with OSHA CFR 1910.1200. This film addresses the product identifiers, signal words, pictograms, and precautionary statements used on labels in the Globally Harmonized System. All 9 hazard pictograms are covered in detail including how to accurately read and understand each label such as the substance?s shipping name, shipping number, and emergency phone number. The film presents the GHS in a simple and effective way allowing your staff to confidently identify potentially hazardous materials.
