Whether lifting by hand or with a piece of machinery designed to lift heavier objects, this course covers the major contributors to injury such as the weight and bulk of the items being lifted, body movement, and hazardous environments. Topics also include strains, improper lifting movements, cuts and bruises, the stacking and piling of materials, as well as masonry blocks, brick stacks, and crane inspection.
