Knife use is essential in any kitchen. Proper use of these potentially dangerous tools is the focus of this training course. Topics include wearing the proper gloves, sanitation issues, and box cutter safety as well as the proper food preparation environment and basic safety rules. What to do in the event of a knife-related injury, proper cutting techniques, using band saws, and the dangers of using a dull knife are also covered in this course.
